Jabari Knox

Co-Founder, Executive Director

Jabari Knox is a civic leader, community builder, and advocate for mental health equity. A proud alum of Florida A&M University and current MBA candidate at the University of Minnesota, Jabari founded Saving Space to address the silent mental health crisis impacting young men on college campuses.

With years of experience in city government—from Chicago to Saint Paul—he brings a deep understanding of how systems can both serve and fail our communities. Jabari launched Saving Space with a simple belief: no college student should suffer in silence.

His leadership blends policy insight, lived experience, and a passion for creating spaces where college men—especially those often overlooked—feel seen, heard, and supported.
